House Judiciary Committee Holds Hearing on the Patent Reform Act

On April 30, 2009, the full House Judiciary Committee held a hearing on the Patent Reform Act of 2009. Topics covered included damages, non-practicing entities, inequitable conduct, venue, first inventor to file, the best mode requirement, business method patents in light of the Bilski decision, and funding for the USPTO.
 
The Committee heard testimony from seven persons:
